Talia & Nathan met in high school and had dated for 13 years before they got engaged! I would say they were more than ready! What a sweet couple they are. Since they lived in San Francisco I had the pleasure of not only communicating with both of them, but her parents as well who live here. Planning this wedding was truly a family affair and I wouldn’t have had it any other way!!! I have never laughed so much or had so much fun at any of my appointments than with this group. It was a pleasure ride all the way. We even had a blindfolded “cupcake tasting contest” with both sets of parents and the Bride & Groom so they were sure to pick the most popular vote! How sweet is that? The wedding day was absolutely sunny and beautiful. The wedding party and families arrived early and had brunch before pictures began. Since they had so many college friends attending this wedding, Talia & Nathan thought it would be fun to charter a school bus to transport them. What a kick! It was fun to see the bus pull up and their friends jump off and grab some lemonade or sangrias before the festivities started. The ceremony was held outside, as well as the cocktail hour, and then guests were invited into the barn for dinner and dancing. Talia & Nathan chose a “rocking chair” theme for their invitations (which we carried through for their table numbers and menu cards) signifying how they are going to grow old together. Well, the Father of the Bride jumped all over that and had me secretly bring 2 rocking chairs (provided by some friends of theirs) and they were brought out during his toast for Talia and Nathan to sit in for the rest of the evening! So clever! They were beyond surprised to say the least! To date, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Horah go as long as this group danced. It was absolutely incredible to watch. There was also a fun photobooth with props that the guests had a great time using. It all ended with a beautiful sparkler send-off for Talia & Nathan as they jumped into their vintage car and then the guests jumped back on the school bus and drove off. This was a wonderful experience for me to get to know two wonderful families and help them with their most special day! I will always treasure this wedding with fond memories.
Parents of the Bride: “From top to bottom, A to Z, one to infinity, everything was absolutely perfect. You know how to plan a party. What a way to get Talia and Nathan committed and off as a married duo. We have no comparators, but don’t think anyone can compare”.
Bride & Groom: “Thank you so much for all of your work putting a truly magical weekend together. We are en route to Sun River for our honeymoon and we will have more than enough to talk about given all the amazing memories we made last night. You were absolutely amazing! Thank you again!”
